The Hamster Wheel of Life

Well it's taken me 2 weeks to make a whopping 3 pincushions. (For comparison, 2 weeks is how long it took me to make my last Work Quilt... what gives?) I feel like March has been one big hamster wheel, and I'm the hamster!

These three pincushions are now available in my shop. I have a few more in the works, but at the rate I'm going I may not finish and post them till the end of the week...

I hope April proves more productive then March has been for me... I think I'm starting to develop a complex :0)

P.S. I used the some of the Sulky® Cotton Blendable Threads for the hand stitching. I like the subtle shifts of color and am anxious to machine quilt with them, too!

They're so lovely!!! Lots and lots of stitching! The last few days have been the same for me... I feel like I've done so much and then I have nothing to show for it. Very odd.

Gorgeous pin cushions! Way too pretty to stick with pins though.

I'm TOTALLY in LOVE with these pincushions, they are totally scrumptious. I was too slow to nab them in your store, would you pretty please let me know when you are going to list some more? Who knew a pin cushion could be so fabulous?!

These pincushions are amazing! I just love the layers and the hand quilting. My March was pretty slow in the creative department too. I think it has something to do with that evil time change.

Well, you're not one to complain, but I'm sure you had reasons that made getting word done more difficult... and, these pincushions are incredible!

Victoria, I can't believe how many of your posts I have missed. You have been one busy lady. I just love the 2 week pincushions, they are gorgeous. I don't think I would want to stick pins it them!! Your weather distraction pictures are gorgeous! I just posted some myself today. Oh, by the way, I am coming to Lancaster for the show. Are you going?

Gorgeous! I have people to shop for, and I'm too late! arg!

But I have to tell you that my daughter - who is VERY particular, and has a degree in Art from Berkeley - absolutely LOVED the little tan pincushion I gave her to warm her house. Thank you so much. It was PERFECT!!

Oh, I love these pincushions. I know you have not produced much but the quality is incredible. I think we all have times like this, just keep plugging along and we will patiently wait...

You are a constant inspiration to me. Oh, and I am still looking at my pile of shot cotton. I can't bring myself to cut into it. :-)

That bottom one is great. A stripy window to me.

Oh my gosh how beautiful these are! I know that hamster feeling - I seem so busy but nothing to show for it. The time change has messed me up too - only an hour but it feels like a whole day!

Me, too -- I missed them again! Any chance you could let your readers know before you send them to your shop in the future??! They're obviously very popular!

They are GORGEOUS!

I know what you mean about spinning without feeling like there's much to show for your efforts. Spring is like that, you know? It's all about preparation for abundance later. Don't worry, this too will change.

Oh gorgeous! These would make excellent full-size cushions too. If only you had the time/inspiration (I totally know how that feels!)
